Q: What is the difference between the “original Hammaka chair” and the “cradle chair”

A: The Cradle chair does not have a headrest or cup holder and is only available with wood dowels. The Hammaka chair is also available in a wider variety of colors.

Q: What are the pros/ cons of each type of dowel?

A: There really is no difference between the wooden or aluminum dowels. You may find one more aesthetically pleasing that the other. The weight and lifespan of both types are exactly the same.

Q: Where should be hang our chair if we do not yet have a stand?

A: You can hang your chair anywhere you can install an eyebolt and will support the weight. 

Q: Are the chairs and hammocks waterproof?

A: No they are not.  They are made of material that will absorb water. While you may get them wet we recommend keeping them dry to extend the life of the product.

Q: How much space to I need to use the chairs?

A: the assembled dimensions of each item are listed on our web site. 12 square feet should generally be enough but, this is a personal preference.

Q: How long will it take to ship the product to me?

A: Our warehouse will process all orders for shipment within 2 business days. Please visit https://wwwapps.ups.com/ctc/request using the shipping zip code of 84016 for an exact transit time. We do take rush orders!

Q: Are there any limits / stipulations on the $5.00 per item shipping offered on your web site?

A: All items shipping to any address within the lower 48 continental us are charged a flat $5.00 shipping rate. International shipments can be estimated at https://wwwapps.ups.com/ctc/request

Q: Is all of the hardware I will need included with the products?

A: All hammocks and chairs (excluding the parachute hammocks) have an s hook included. If you are purchasing a stand with your hammock this will be all you need. If you are not purchasing a stand you may need to install an eye bolt which is not included.
